Step 1 - Nominate Directors

Each School needs to nominate its MUN director(s). A maximum of 2 MUN Directors can be nominated. Director and School contact details must be filled in FORM I.


Step 2 - Choose Students

MUN directors then select students from their schools as delegates, using the guidelines mentioned in the Prospectus. The number of students from each school can range from 3 to 11. Students officers are not included in these numbers. We strongly advise that schools bring as many students as possible as this will facilitate debate.

Security Council and Special Event nominees that will not be allocated a position due to lack of availability will if they wish to be randomly sorted in other country delegation's GA committees.

You are kindly avised to start collecting the necessary data from your students (FORM IV) as soon as possible as this might take some times. We will return to this FORM in step 5. Instead, please fill in FORM II in the next step.



Step 3 - Fees - Invoice

Participation fees are set for �50.00 per student and �25.00 per MUN Director. After deciding the number of students coming (already done in step 2) please fill in FORM II and send it with the required playment. Details are found on the appropriate form. For schools coming from outside of Cyprus other payment options can apply. This is the official invoice of participation and a receipt will be given on the first day of the conference during registration.

Step 4 - Choose Countries

MUN Directors are now required to choose the countries they want their students to represent by filing in FORM III. A list of available countries can be found in the APPENDIX on page 25. Due to high demand by many schools for particular countries you are reuired to select the 15 most preferred countries and MEDI.M.U.N. will try to accommodate your preferences.



Step 5 - Student Details

Now it is time to fill in FORM IV. The students have to be grouped in their respective delegations (Delegation 1,2 and 3) and nominated for the Security Council and Special Event (Please see the diagram on page 21). Due to the very demanding nature of these two committees, schools are advised to nominate the most experienced and most motivated individuals, possibly second-time delegates.

MEDI.M.U.N. requires from each participant to submit their Name and Surname, Date of Birth, Phone number (preferably mobile phone), E-mail, Gender, Nationality and Postal Address. These details are very important to MEDI.M.U.N. We kindly request that hey are filled in carefully and clearly.

Any changes to the delegation arrangements after the submission of this from will require an additional charge of �15 (to cover the extra administration costs) by filling in the relevant form.
